Charging of the battery starts.
In the display of the remote control,Connect the AC power adaptor to the DC IN
OCharging� indication flashes and the3 V jack of your CD player and an AC

Notes
YWhen charging the battery using the charging
stand, be sure to remove the external battery
case.
YDuring charging, the CD player and the
rechargeable battery become hot. This poses no
danger.
YIf you press the jog lever during charging,
charging stops and playback of the CD starts.
YIf you place the CD player on the charging stand
during playback, playback stops and charging
starts.
YPlace the CD player on the charging stand
securely, aligning the V mark on the CD player
with the v mark on the stand. Make sure that the
CHARGE lamp on the CD player lights up.
Wrong placement interrupts charging or
playback.
