Précautions pour l?utilisation
Lorsque l?appareil est en fonctionnement, la surface
s?échauffe; il convient donc d?éloigner les enfants en
bas âge.
Le verre vitrocéramique est un matérial
particulierement résistant aux chocs mécaniques et
thermiques.
Il n?est cependant pas incassable: ne pas utiliser la
table de cuisson en vitrocéramique comme plan de
travail (pour découper des aliments par exemple),
éviter toute chute de petits objets a bords tranchants
(flacons d?épices, ustensiles pointus ... ), et ne pas
cuire d?aliments directement sur la table ou sur une
feuille de papier aluminium.
Ne pas mettre de récipients mouillés ou des
couvercles chargés de vapeur sur les zones de cuisson
non utilisées car l?humidité et la vapeur occasionnent
a la longue des dépôts calcaires.
Ne pas poser de récipients en plastique sur la surface
brulante.
Tenez éloigné de votre plan de cuisson tout ce qui est
susceptible de fondre, matieres plastiques, feuilles
d?aluminium, sucre et produits sucrés... (voir chapitre
Entretien).
Graisses et huiles surchauffées peuvent s?enflammer.
Il convient donc de toujours surveiller la préparation
des plats contenant graisses ou huiles (frites par
exemple).
Travailler avec précaution en cas d?utilisation
d?appareils électriques dont les cordons sont
raccordés a une prise se trouvant a proximité de la
table vitrocéramique. Ces cordons ne doivent pas
entrer en contact avec la surface de cuisson brulante.
Si votre table de cuisson est endommagée (éclat,
felure) et si vous constatez une anomalie de
fonctionnement, débranchez immédiatement
l?appareil et faites appel a votre vendeur qui est le
premier habilité a intervenir.
