1-5-3. SCSI BIOS Setup
1. Turn on the power of PC.
2. Confirm that OPress <Ctrl><A> for SCSI Select(tm) Utility!� is displayed on the monitor, and press
the <Ctrl><A> key simultaneously. (SCSI Select utility activation)

Would you like to configure the host adapter or run

the SCSI disk utilitles? Select the option and press

<Enter>. Press <F6> to switch between color and

monochrome modes.

In the SCSI Select utility, press the arrow (­, ?, ? , ? ) keys and <Enter> key to move, select, and
decide between items.
To return to the former screen or exit the option screen, press the <Esc> key.
3. Select the [Configure/View Host Adapter Settings] option on the SCSI Select activation screen, and
press the <Esc> key.

4. Select [Advanced Configuration Options] in option item [Configuration], and press the <Esc> key.
5. Set [Host Adapter BIOS] in the set menu to ODisabled�.
6. Press the <Esc> key to exit the option screen.
7. Next, select the [SCSI Device Configuration] option, and press the <Esc> key.
8. Select Ono� in [Initiate Sync Negotiation] of an SCSI Device ID ... #6 column on the [SCSI Device
Configuration] screen.
9. Press the <Esc> key and exit the option screen to return to the former screen.
10. Press the <Esc> key. Select Oyes� in the OSave Change Made?� message, and press the <Enter> key.
11. Press the <Esc> key. Return to the SCSI Select activation screen, and press the <Esc> key again.
12. Select Oyes� in the OExit Utility?� message, and press the <Enter> key.
13. Press the <Enter> key according to the OPlease press any key to reboot� message.
(Windows 3.1 activation)
14. Select [Program Manager}-[Windows Exit] of Windows 3.1, and execute it.
15. Turn off the power of PC.
