7) The intelligent accessory shoe is need not be connected. To
remove it, disconnect the following connector.
DI-088 board CN4002 (10P, 0.5mm)
8) Removing the DI-088 board means removing the lithium 3V
power supply (DI-088 board, BT4001), data such as date, time,
user-set menus will be lost. After completing adjustments, reset
these data.
But, the self-diagnosis data and the data on history of use (total
drum rotation time etc.) will be kept even if the DI-088 board
has been removed. (Refer to O6-4.Service Mode� for the data
on the history use and the self-diagnosis data.)
To open the DI-088 board, use the following extension cable
between the DI-088 board CN4003 and VC-314 board CN1003.

9) By setting the OForced VTR Power ON mode�, the video section
can be operate even if the control switch block (FK-4110) has
been removed. When removing it, disconnect the following
connector.
VC-314 board CN1006 (27P, 0.3mm)
10) The JK-245 board (DV jack, USB jack) is need not be
connected. To remove it, disconnect the following connectors.
VC-314 board CN1002 (14P, 0.5mm)
11) The microphone unit is need not be connected. To remove it,
disconnect the following connectors.
VC-314 board CN1001 (4P, 1.0mm)
12) As the timing generator (IC7501) is provided on the CD-433
board of the lens block, the CN1101 of CD-433 board and
CN1500 of VC-314 board must be connected when performing
adjustments.
