This manual is for both the EU and Australian version of the CCD-TR55(E) Camcorder, as stated it includes both the users manual and the service manual. The quality of the manual is very good but it is only black and white (not full colour) and ultimately it is just a scan, so 4/5 from me.

I downloaded this product and looked through it quickly with Adobe Reader v9. It is clean and a good copy. Some scanned pages are not perfectly square, but that is a minor complaint. The document schematics and board diagrams are easy to read, of good contrast. The whole file downloaded quickly. This is a good service! Sony charges about $100 for the printed version of the same manual. It is still available through their print-on-demand pro parts system, but why would you do that?

1When the USB driver installation is
completed, click [ImageMixer] on the
menu window.
Install Wizard program starts up and

appears.
If the menu window does not appear,
double-click [My Computer], then
[ImageMixer] (CD-ROM Drive). The4Click [Finish].
menu window appears after a while.The installation of ImageMixer is
completed. The installation dialog box
of WINASPI appears.
5Click [OK], and follow the instructions
given in the on-screen messages.
6When The [InstallShield Wizard
2Select the language to be used and clickComplete] dialog box appears, click
[Finish].
[OK].7Take out the CD-ROM from the CD-
ROM drive after the computer restarts.
Note
On a computer without DirectX 8.0a or later,
DirectX installation starts. Follow the
instructions given in the on-screen messages
and restart the computer after the installation
is complete.
About WINASPI
To be able to use the ImageMixer CD writing
function, you need to install WINASPI. If a
different writing application was previously
installed, its writing function may not work
correctly. If that happens, reinstall the original
application and replace WINASPI. Note that
the ImageMixer CD writing function may not
work properly.
