1. Preparations for adjustments6DEEMPH OUT
1) Clean the tape running surface (tape guide, drum, capstan, pinch7BPF ADJ
roller).8RF SWP
2) Connect the adjustment remote commander to the REMOTE9CAP FG
terminal (JACK block).
3) Set the NORM-ADJUST (HOLD) switch to ADJUST (ON)
position.
4) Check that the main power is being supplied.
5) Select page : 6, address : 00, set data : 01 and press the PAUSE
button.
6) Select page : F, address : 02, set data : 03 and press the PAUSE
button.
7) Turn off the power supply once, then turn it on.
8) Connect an oscilloscope.
CH1: VC-188 board CN102 pin 1.
External trigger : VC-188 boar8d CN102 pin .
9) Playback the tracking alignment tape.
WR5-1NP : NTSC
WR5-1CP : PAL
10) Check to see that RF waveform is flat at input and exit sides on
oscilloscope.
If it not flat. Tape Path Adjustment� of the 8mm Video
Mechanism Section Adjustment Manual B Mechanism .
11) After completing the adjustment, perform O2-1-4. Processing
after operation�.
