Setting the clock and downloading the data

The BKPF-R70A is initialized in steps 2 and 3.
This initialization erases the device ID and serial number settings at the ISR system.
If your system uses the ISR, take notes on the device ID before initialization. (Step 1).
1. If your system uses the ISR, take notes on the device ID as follows.
If your system does not use the ISR, go to step 2.
(1) Start up the terminal software.
(2) Set the test switch S5 to OE�.
(3) Press the reset switch S1.
The device ID and serial number are displayed. Take notes on the device ID.
2. Set the test switch S5 to OD�.
3. Press the reset switch S1.
4. Set the test switch S5 to O0�.
5. Press the reset switch S1.
6. Call the menu screen on the control terminal and select OT: SET CLOCK�.
Set the current time.
7. Restore the backup data. (Refer to Section 1-11 in the Installation Manual of BKPF-R70A.)
8. If the system is used with the ISR, set the device ID and serial number as follows.
(1) Make sure that the terminal software is started up.
(2) Set the test switch S5 to OE�.
(3) Press the reset switch S1.
(4) Type the device ID. : Refer to the notes taken in step 1-(3).
Type the serial number. : Refer to a serial number label on the CPU-256A board.
